Dithering

I read all that's available on the website about Sound Grinder Pro's features.  I am a bit puzzled by the lack of any mention about the software's dithering facilities, seeing as it's crucial when reducing bit-depth.

Is dithering in fact available?
Do dithering setting get saved with Droplets?

Could someone expand on the topic (i.e. flavors, etc), please?

Thank you.

Re: Dithering

Hello Andre,

Our products do not contain dithering at this time.  There have been many advancements and new options in dithering technologies and we are right in there and will have this incorporated in the near future.  We want to make sure that we have the best option for our users and not just rush in for the latest and greatest.

Thank you for contacting Monkey Tools!

Re: Dithering

For the record, I'm using SG v2.5.5 and have not upgraded because of the lack of dither. I've been asking for it for 3 years now. I have let Monkey Tools know that I will only upgrade when dithering is added. It's essential for converting 24 bit material to lower bit depths.

Are all of the popular dithering methods only available under license? This has been the most often used excuse; the added expense of licensing. If so, why not make dither a paid option?
